This Privacy Policy describes how the Marketplace Lister Chrome extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.

1. Who We Are

Marketplace Lister is a product of U11 AI Automation Agency, based in Canada. The extension is available as an unlisted tool provided to authorised dealership clients only.

2. Information We Collect

• Account credentials — email address and password, used solely to authenticate you via Firebase Authentication.
• Dealer settings — dealership name, website URL, inventory paths, and listing templates you configure. Stored in Firebase Firestore under your account.
• Vehicle listing data — vehicle details (make, model, year, price, description, photos) read from your dealership's inventory page for the purpose of creating listings.
• Posted vehicle records — a log of vehicles you have posted, stored locally in Chrome storage and synced to Firebase Firestore.
• Subscription status — whether your account is active, cached locally to control extension access.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and verify your subscription status.
• To display and auto-fill vehicle listing forms on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.
• To track which vehicles have been listed to avoid duplicates.
• To allow your administrator to manage your account settings.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history outside of your dealership's inventory page.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties.
• We do not collect payment or financial information.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) — for secure login and cloud data storage. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI API — optionally used to generate vehicle descriptions. Only vehicle data (make, model, year, features) is sent. No personal data is transmitted. Subject to OpenAI Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), which is hosted in secure Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is controlled by Firebase Authentication — only you and your authorised administrator can access your account data. We do not store API keys or passwords in the extension source code.

7. Local Storage

The Extension stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API:

• Your subscription status and expiry date
• A record of vehicles you have posted
• Your dealer settings (website URL, inventory paths)
• Your lister panel enabled/disabled preference

This data remains on your device and is not shared with anyone.

8. Permissions Used

• storage — to save your settings and posted vehicle log locally.
• tabs — to detect when you navigate to your inventory page and open dealer pages from the popup.
• scripting — to inject the listing panel on your configured dealership website only.
• identity — to support Firebase Authentication.
• host permissions — to communicate with Firebase services and to inject content on your specific dealership domain.

9. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@u11.ca. We will remove your data from Firebase Firestore within 7 business days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
